Welcome back, Haim. It’s been a minute.
After a few weeks of hype and teases, the beloved Los Angeles sister trio are back this morning with a seductively somber new song called “Right Now”, complete with a music video directed by filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson (Boogie Nights, Magnolia). The clip shows the group performing the percussion-and-piano-led track live in the studio, and you can watch it below.
“Right Now” also serves as the first taste of Haim’s highly anticipated new album, the follow-up to 2013’s Days Are Gone. The LP is reportedly titled Something to Tell You, and will drop July 7. The group plays Saturday Night Live on May 13.
Bless.
