But we're still wrapping our head around the one that sparked up last week between Canadian indie band The New Pornographers and children's book writer Raffi over the alleged normalization of the word "porn." Last night at the House of Blues in Boston, there were no real, tangible obscenities on Lansdowne Street as The New Pornographers rolled into town -- Neko Case in, Daniel Bejar out -- in support of this month's new record, Whiteout Conditions. Waxahatchee, the always-fantasic project from singer-songwriter Katie Crutchfield, opened the show, and Ben Stas was in the room to capture some visuals of both performances.
