With the Red Sox, Bruins, and Celtics all in action, yesterday (April 23) was a pretty intense sports Sunday around Boston. But there was an unexpected entry in the day’s sporting festivities, and it had nothing to do with Tom Brady dodging accusations about his Best Buddies charity.
Turns out Patriots stars Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman busted out the ol’ skateboards for a few joyrides around Boston. Only In Boston has the extended video of their rides — we think we spot the Commonwealth Avenue Mall and the Public Garden — and Amendola posted a pretty killer pic of he and Edelman out and about in Copley Square.
The only negative thing about all this is their constant use of the term “Beantown.” Well, that, and the threat of pulling a Bumgarner.
Like most of us around town, Amendola and Edelman ended up at a bar watching the Bruins take on the Ottawa Senators in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Bruins game (and season) did not have a happy ending, but it looked like a good time nonetheless.
