So you’ve seen the pants-wettingly good new trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and you’re probably wondering what all of it means. Well, luckily for you, we spent plenty of time reading Star Wars tie-in novels and visual guides (and also getting plenty of wedgies) in our youth and are here to break it down for you.

A misleading cut to Captain Phasma and the stormtroopers of the First Order marching through burning ruins. The editors might want you to believe that they’re marching on the Temple in the shot right before, but they’re actually making their way through the hanger that’s attacked in slide 13. Look at the wreckage. Unfortunately, there’s not much more to glean from this shot, though it is totally fucking awesome.
