Editor's Note: On Inauguration Day, Austra released their new album Future Politics, and the timing could not have been any better for a record Katie Stelmanis described as a "commitment to envisioning something different as humans, something outside of the current systems of say what you want, take what you want, and give nothing back.” As fate would have it, the Toronto electronic-pop project kicked off their North American tour last night (January 24) at the Sinclair in Cambridge. Joining Austra on the beat-mad bill were Colombia's Ela Minus and Boston's own Bearstronaut.
