2011 was a wild year. The Boston Bruins won the Stanley Cup, The King’s Speech scored an Oscar for Best Picture, and for one brief moment in time, indie and electro dance floors were united in their love for “Bulletproof” by La Roux.
By that point, the smash hit from the British electronic-pop duo was already two years old, but people were still feeling it, waving their fingers around the dance floor every time a DJ spun it. In December of ’11, one man, Conor Tripler of Los Angeles, vowed to use Twitter for good and keep the song forever in our hearts and playlists by promising to remind us of its unrelenting brilliance come 2017.
Well, that year is here, and so is Tripler with the good word.
5 year plan: in 2017 i will put on Bulletproof by La Roux and i will say Hey. Remember This Song.
