Here in the United States, it’s Thanksgiving week, where we put aside our differences and break bread with racist family members and awkward relatives. It’s a beautiful thing. But for Canadian pop star Justin Bieber, the only thing he’s giving down in Barcelona are thuggish meat hooks.
Bieber was caught on camera last night literally sucker-punching a male fan square in the lip, leaving the guy bloodied, surprised, and, frankly, a bit peeved. He almost got blood on his scarf.
The incident happened while Bieber was in the back of a chauffeur-driven car en route his show at Barcelona’s Palau Sant Jordi stadium, after he rolled down his window to get a proper glimpse of the assembled throng of adoring fans. But one gent got a bit too close. As TMZ notes in the video below, “a guy ran up to the car and stuck his hand in the window to touch him. Bieber responded with a quick jab to the face.”
Even the guy’s friends can’t believe it. The Daily Mail reports that local police are not expected to investigate the crime, “but the fan could issue a formal complaint.”
