Screen Grabs: Watch the six Boston Music Awards nominees for Video of the Year

Three weeks from Thursday, the 2016 Boston Music Awards culminate with an awards ceremony at the House of Blues. In addition to the various live performances, more than 30 pieces of steel hardware will be handed out, and, as is usually the case, most of the categories are too wide open to properly predict.

So as we approach the home stretch of the public voting season, Vanyaland wanted to dive in a bit and present some of the nominees side-by-side. First up, we're taking a look at the six noms in Video of the Year, an eclectic category that features two rappers (Slaine and Kyle Bent), two pop groups (Air Traffic Controller and PVRIS), a guitar-pop beacon (Palehound), and a rock and soul powerhouse (Ruby Rose Fox).

And in case you were wondering, last year's honor went to Petty Morals' "Just A Game".

Voting in this year's Video of the Year, as well as the other categories, is still open to everyone, so feast your eyes of the nominees and selected clips below, then pick your winner here. Full credits on each video can be found on each band or artist's YouTube page.

Veni Video Vici -- may the best clip win.
