Look, it’s been a very trying and confusing week for a lot of us. And sometimes, at the end of such a week, you need something pretty ridiculous to look forward to, a place where you can drink all the mimosas and listen to all the Britney Spears with a room of like-minded individuals.
This Sunday, November 13, that place is Thunder Road, as the Somerville rock and roll bistro hosts “It’s Britney Brunch”. The good folks at Pop Icon are delivering the goods for this Sunday morning powwow celebrating good eats and pop treats, and the menu served up by the Union Square joint is worthy of Vanyaland headlines.
We’re told the 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. party (or afterparty, depending on how you roll), will celebrate all things Britney with drink specials like “Hit Me Bacardi One More Time” and “Tea Against The Music.” For those hungrier than yesterday, eats include “I’m A Slave For Blueberry Pancakes,” “Soups, I Did It Again” and an Eggs Benedict plate called “If You Seek Hammy.”
