A few weeks ago Dillinger Escape Plan and Lunglust played Great Scott, and we all marveled at the sweaty mass of flesh and metal packed tightly within the intimate Allston venue. Now Monday morning brings another siren for titans playing a rather small Rock City venue, this time it’s a five-headed monolith of extreme metal legends Napalm Death, melodic death metal crew The Black Dahlia Murder, grindcore beasts Pig Destroyer, as well as Power Trip and Abnormality, bringing guaranteed destruction to Brighton Music Hall on November 14.
Tickets go on sale Friday, September 2, via the usual suspects.
As Blabbermouth reports, Napalm Death and The Black Dahlia Murder are teaming up for a month-long co-headlining tour this November, and for our local date, we’re getting some ear-piercing add-ons.
This show might bring more destruction to Allston than this week’s move-in day.
“It is our great pleasure to once again reunite with our longtime pals in Napalm Death; we really hit it off with them when we were just little tykes on our first-ever European tour so many years ago,” says Black Dahlia Murder frontman Trevor Strnad in a statement. “To this day, Napalm remain a vital force in music and are some of my absolute heroes. It feels great to finally be able to announce this amazing line-up we’ve been brewing… Keeping a secret this good was killing me inside! All of the bands are absolutely killer and we couldn’t be more proud to be considered a part of this elite. We’ll see you this fall, bring your helmet!”
