Brace Yourselves: The ‘Game of Thrones’ Live Concert Experience is coming to TD Garden

Game Of Thrones is going on tour, and sadly, we aren’t talking about Hodor’s blooming career as an EDM DJ.

Instead, the music of the celebrated HBO epic is headed out with a full orchestra and opera for a 28-date jaunt across North America. Billed as Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience and led by composer Ramin Djawadi, it rolls into Boston’s TD Garden on March 6 — well in advance of the anticipated premiere of the show’s seventh season.

No spoilers, please!

The Westeros spectacle is being called “an immersive music and visual experience that will bring the Seven Kingdoms to life,” according to a press release. As Pitchfork notes, bands like The National and Sigur Ros have contributed to the Game Of Thrones soundtrack, and metal dudes Mastodon have appeared on the show.

“By combining the music with state-of-the-art technology, we are going to bring the astonishing world of Westeros to fans in a live and unique concert experience,” Djawadi says.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday via livenation.com. Full dates are below, but first, check out how epic this looks:
