Editor’s Note: Everyone likes to pit Boston versus Los Angeles. Arguments over basketball, music scenes, and ability of each city’s drivers have waged on over the years in pubs and clubs on both coasts. Last night at the Middle East, however, Los Angeles and Boston came together as one: Girlpool and French Vanilla representing SoCal and Horse Jumper of Love and Lady Pills repping our fair region, all in the name of music that rips. Vanyaland’s Eddy Leiva was on hand to capture a few snaps from the show, and what began as a simple Upstaged assignment (one or two images for social media) blossomed into a full-on gallery.
