Roses Bloom: ’80s cult heroes Book Of Love return with vibrant new song ‘All Girl Band’

Three years ago, Philly-born, New York-based pop group Book Of Love reunited after several years away for a string of club dates, promising new music. Now, on the eve of their 30th anniversary reunion show in New York City, the quartet — which delivered a pair of brilliant minimal electronic pop hits like “Boy” and “I Touch Roses” in the ’80s — have made good on that promise.

This morning, Book of Love released the vibrant, throwback track “All Girl Band”, which is their first touch of new music in 16 years.

The song, which you can hear below, will be included on a new album titled, MMXVI-The 30th Anniversary Collection, out July 1 via Rhino Records. Another new track, titled Something Good”, will also included among re-mastered songs and unreleased demos.

Tomorrow night (June 23), all four Book of Love members — Lauren Roselli, Jade Lee, Ted Ottaviano, Susan Ottaviano — will be on stage together at Highline Ballroom in New York for the official 30th anniversary show.
