This morning, Scottish indie band Teenage Fanclub have revealed details of their first new album in six years. The record is called Here, it’s their 10th studio album overall, and it will be out September 9 via Merge. The album follows 2010 LP Shadows.
And judging from its lead single, “I’m In Love”, the record should be a good one. Stream the sunny, ’60s-pop-kissed track below via Soundcloud.
According to the band today on Facebook, Here was recorded in Provence and in Glasgow, mixed in Hamburg, and mastered in London.
Teenage Fanclub have a series of United Kingdom dates set for later this year, including an appearance at September’s End Of The Road festival in Wiltshire, England. We’ll pass along any word on stateside dates as soon as they become public; here’s hoping for a spring ’17 tour from the boys.
