The shining knights of those long-lost Best Album... In The World... Ever compilations are returning to America. Yes, Kula Shaker are back.
The '90s Britpop mainstays have announced a fall North American tour that kicks off with a September 26 date at Brighton Music Hall in Allston. Crispian Mills and the boys will play 10 dates across the U.S. in total, including two nights at Rough Trade in New York (September 29 and 30) and an October 8 show at the Roxy in Los Angeles.
We thiiiink this will be Kula Shaker's first time in Boston since a February '97 gig at Avalon, which went down few short months after the release of debut album K. That record provided the hits "Tattva", "Hey Dude", and "Govinda".
When the Indian-influenced band returns this fall, they'll have another new record to promote, as K 2.0 will get a domestic release in August after dropping a few months ago in the UK.
Tickets to all upcoming dates go on sale Friday. Check out all the dates below, and hear what Kula Shaker have been up to lately via the slider.
