The good people of Cambridge will not be experiencing Minor Victories on June 20.
The British supergroup, comprised of Mogwai’s Stuart Braithwaite, Rachel Goswell of Slowdive, and Editors’ Justin Lockey and his brother James, have postponed their upcoming North American tour due to the usual visa trouble.
The band writes: “Minor Victories are sorry to announce that their tour dates in the USA and Canada are being postponed due to visa delays beyond their control. The band are currently looking to reschedule the dates and want all those who have booked tickets to know that they are keen to get details of these shows announced as soon as possible.”
Included in those postponements are nine shows in total, including the aforementioned June 20 date at the Sinclair and stops at the Rock & Roll Hotel in D.C. (June 19), Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg (June 21), and the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles (June 29). Full dates are below.
