A few weeks back we hyped the latest video from Boston guitar-rock dudes Dinoczar, a clip for “Cream” that saw the trio eat a bunch of ice cream before trying to play the song live. If the heavy dairy slowed them down before, then the heavy sludge will scrape their knees across the dirt in their new jam, a riffing fuzz-bomb of a track called “I Lost My Head”.
Combining stoner and sludge vibes with batshit garage rock, “I Lost My Head” is the latest from Dinoczar’s upcoming record Sick Wind, out Friday via the locally sourced Basement Sounds, a new-ish label from Black Beach’s Ben Semeta, which put out that band’s LP, Shallow Creatures, a few weeks ago. The album was recorded and mixed by Dinoczar guitarist Paul Dunne.
