Photo Gallery: Corrosion of Conformity, Lamb of God, and Clutch get rowdy at House of Blues

Right before the fourth song of their set, "512," Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe told the House of Blues audience that Boston was the rowdiest audience of the tour -- no bullshit. Sure, last Tuesday (May 10) was only the eighth of a string of performances running through early June which will include stops like Rock on the Range and Bonnaroo, but the compliment hit the mark and more bodies went flying in air as had been the standard since they kicked off their headlining slot with a pandemonium inducing "Walk with Me in Hell." Corrosion of Conformity drew as surprisingly large crowd as the openers, and it was likely their last appearance in the area until next year as recently returned singer Pepper Keenan announced C.O.C. would be decamping to the studio to bang out a new album. Stoner/psych-rockers Clutch had their own built-in followers who needed no prompting to get rambunctious and, in all honesty, could've pulled off headlining the show themselves as frontman Neil Fallon's animated movements were transfixing. Check out some of the images from the night below.
