Editor's Note: We can't recall the last time someone performed in front of a row of shopping carts on Lansdowne Street. But there was more than just pop for sale last night at the House of Blues, when Brooklyn's Santigold delivered a crisp set of modern alt-pop and R&B. In town supporting her latest album, February's 99 Cents, Santi White's Market Basket approach was a nice take on the notions of music being a disposable and cheap commodity in 2016.
