Late last year we hooked up with Esh & Arc, the Boston hip-hop duo who went all Weekend At Bernie’s for their intense “Live It Up (‘Til The Buzz Dies Down)” video, which brought a dead guy to the Allston party scene. Today, as they get set to head out on a spring tour to support ace debut LP Death Doesn’t Want You, Esh the Monolith and the Arcitype are back with another clip, assuming their alter-egos as the Turtlenecks in a video that admittedly sends the production values screaming in the other direction.
The video is for Death Doesn’t Want You cut “Disposable Lovers”, and you can watch it in all its ’60s art-house heart-throb glory below. It was directed, edited, and composed by Matthew Watkins.
Once you dry off, check Esh & Arc’s full run of dates via the flyer. The tour kicks off March 23 in New Haven, and wraps April 5 in Buffalo. A few weeks later, the duo will be at Dusk in Providence, so make note of that as well.
