Editor’s Note: It’s the lede that writes itself: As temperatures around Eastern Massachusetts hovered around single-digit territory, a band named Stove heated up the Middle East in Cambridge. Ok, apologies for that. Regardless of climate, last night’s show — presented by Allston Pudding and also featuring guitar-rock bands Puppy Problems, Blessed State, and Halfsour — was a nice alternative to the bloated Grammys hoopla that dominated music headlines and social media feeds.
