Soaked in red light, a silent crowd stood by in The Greene Space at WNYC & WQXR to experience Kaki King's multi-media LP, The Neck Is A Bridge To The Body. Her Winter Jazzfest performance was subtle, albeit colorful and visually unpredictable, as she mixed media and let her fingers fly over the glowing guitar. Crouched between cameramen for a documentary that's currently being made about Kaki, Vanyaland's NYC photographer Darragh Dandurand captured the craziness.
