Beatbox Champ Kaila Mullady at Tiger Mama, 1363 Boylston St. in Boston

If seeing bands or dancing to DJs aren’t enough to get you out of the house, maybe the 2015 Female World Beatbox Champion can get you motivated. Human party lifter Kaila Mullady is the top draw tonight at Tiger Mama, Tiffani Faison’s new southeast Asian eatery in the ever-changing Fenway district. The night will feature spontaneous performances throughout the night from Mullady, billed as the America Vice Beatbox Champion, Loop station champion, and three-time Beatrhyme Champion, infusing beatboxing, singing, rapping, poetry, and theater. Here’s word on the food, because we still think combination Taco Bell/KFCs are fancy: “The celebration will feature cocktails, a raw bar, dinner, a champagne toast and live performances from Kaila and some of her fellow beatboxers. Guests will be greeted at Tiger Mama with a Mizu Shochu Holiday Punch, a blend of shochu, blood orange, lemon, sparkling wine, spices and Demerara sugar. A special Tiger Mama Raw Bar will also kick off the night followed by dinner including duck and Sichuan sirloin carving stations, passed noodles, hors d’oeuvres and sweets.”

Doors are at 8:30 p.m., this is a 21-plus event, and tickets are $150 (food is included).
