Hallelujah The Hills, Barbazons, Milk at Great Scott, 1222 Commonwealth Ave. in Allston

Sometimes you want it fast, dirty, and cheap (to allow more coin saved for booze). Great Scott’s annual NYE tradition carries on with the don’t-call-us-literary-rock stylings of decade-aged indie darlings Hallelujah The Hills, the wham-bam-thank-you-glam party poppers Barbazons, and the probably-good-for-you folky psych-pop of Milk. Doors are at 9 p.m., this is a 21-plus party, and tickets are $15.
