Dancing On Snow: St. Lucia announce winter tour, play Boston in February

By the time Valentine’s Day rolls around, Boston should be fairly frozen solid. Helping the great winter thaw of 2016 will be the tropical and sunny sounds of St. Lucia, who play Royale on February 17.

The New York-based dance-pop band announced a string of winter dates today, kicking off with a hometown January 30 show at Webster Hall and wrapping up March 11 at the Observatory in Santa Ana, California. For the Boston date, of which tickets go on sale this Friday (pre-sale starts tomorrow at noon with password DANCING), Australian electronic pop group Tigertown provide opening duties.

St. Lucia are on the road supporting upcoming album Matter, and you can preview the band’s latest single, the vibrant “Dancing On Glass”, after the dates.
