Around this time last year Dutch ReBelle was riding high on the release of ReBelle Diaries, a breakout record that included the still fresh-as-fuck single “Yen.” The Boston rapper showed off the LP at the inaugural Sound Of Our Town festival, revving up the crowd despite the rain falling from overhead. Two months later, she was named Hip-Hop Artist Of The Year in the 2014 Boston Music Awards.
Now Dutch is back with a new EP, Kiss Kiss, set to drop on Monday (September 21) via AudioCommon, and it coincides with a new video for her confident collaboration with Roxbury’s Jefe Replay, “Air It Out”.
The video takes the vibes to WonderBar in Allston before hitting the house party. “Only pass the blunt to all the homies that we know,” Jefe delivers with unmitigated cool, and now we’re passing this clip on to our readers.
