It’s been a pretty good year for Depeche Mode offshoot albums. Back in April, Martin Gore released an instrumental solo album on Mute Records, and now frontman Dave Gahan is back with a second collaborative effort with Soulsavers.
In advance of the October 23 release of Angels & Ghosts, today Dave Gahan & Soulsavers dropped the album’s first single, the brooding, Exciter-flavored “All of This and Nothing.” The band will play six select shows later this year in Europe and North America, including a Los Angeles date (October 19 at the Theatre at Ace Hotel), and a New York gig (October 22 at Town Hall).
