Converse announces first free public show at its Lovejoy Wharf HQ — and it’s on Wednesday

Converse Rubber Tracks

A few months ago when we all were getting our first taste of the new Converse headquarters and its Rubber Tracks studio in Boston’s North End, everyone pretty much agreed: This place is going to have some awesome live shows.

Well, that didn’t take long.

The first such free and public live show has been announced, and it’s right around the corner. It features New York rock band Caveman and Boston electric folk act Eternals, both getting busy this Wednesday, August 26 at Converse’s Lovejoy Wharf. It’s a pretty good way to cap off the summer, and an even better way kickstart one of Boston’s coolest new performance spaces.

The show is all-ages, and starts at 5 p.m., and more details to come as they emerge. Check out the bands below, and take note: one of the dudes in Caveman used to be in NYC y2k-wave indie darlings Elefant. Now that’s news you can use!
