Converse Rubber Tracks Live announces Future Islands & Bad Rabbits show @ the Sinclair

By now we shouldn’t be too shocked when Converse Rubber Tracks Live rolls out a dope show at the Sinclair. This is, after all, the group that brought the Replacements, Passion Pit, Slayer, and others to the mid-sized Harvard Square joint back in April. But we let out a collective “Oooh!” at the next Rubber Tracks show, which goes down July 23 at the Sinclair and features Baltimore alt-pop phenomenon Future Islands and homegrown post-R&B cowboys Bad Rabbits.

The RSVP opens tomorrow (Thursday) at noon via Ticketmaster. <--- That's the RSVP link, BTW. So get those fingertips in refresh-ready form and practice those Samuel T. Herring dance moves in the mirror. This will be a banger. The fine print: "Converse Rubber Tracks Live is a monthly, free concert series supporting emerging music across the U.S and internationally. The series features an opening artist at every performance who has recorded at the Converse Rubber Tracks studio and has been hand-selected by the headlining act. Now in it's second year, the series began in Brooklyn and has since expanded to San Francisco, Boston and Los Angeles with more cities to follow globally. Information on how fans can receive entry to the free concerts is announced prior to each show. NOTE: RSVP does not guarantee entry." Get into it.
