Last week everyone pretty much agreed that Rihanna’s new video for “Bitch Better Have My Money” was some crazy, next-level shit, as we all watched the pop star kidnap and torture some folk before basking in their blood and a box full of dollars. It was all pretty metal.
This week, expectedly, things have gotten weirder, as KoRn have jumped into the ring with their own remix of the track, a metallized take that pretty much just layers Ri-Ri’s vocals over some unmistakably-KoRn-y guitar riffs and breakdowns.
Rihanna’s aggro tone is really suited to the heavier take, and the remix even has some underlying Jonathan Davis growls (at least we think that’s what those sounds are; we just might be imagining them). Maybe it’s pretty awesome, maybe it’s absolutely terrible. It’s probably both.
