Passion Pit have been playing some tough-to-get-into shows around Massachusetts lately. Back in April, the hometown electronic pop band headlined Night 2 of the Converse Rubber Tracks Live series at the Sinclair, and on July 23, they’ll play the Lawn On D for a sweet outdoor summer show that sold out in 48 hours.
If you missed scoring tickets to the Lawn On D show, fear not, as Passion Pit will be taking the party over the Theatre District nightclub Bijou after the show.
At Bijou, Passion Pit frontman Michael Angelakos will be DJing a party hosted by Tablelist, which according to Boston Magazine is “a Boston-based app created by Northeastern University graduate Julian Jung that allows users to easily book VIP tables and bottle service at venues around town.”
Tickets went on sale today at noon and are $20 for general admission, with VIP tables with bottle service starting at $650.
“When we saw how quickly the Passion Pit show sold out at Lawn on D, we had the idea to bring them out after for a DJ set at Bijou Nightclub in Boston,” Tablelist’s Brin Chartier tells Vanyaland. “[Angelakos’] past sets have been mixes of their songs and other artists as well. Should be a very cool contrast to the show at Lawn on D.”
