Go Outside: Here’s the full lineup for the free Make Music Festival today in Harvard Square

Just a few short weeks after Mayfair, Harvard Square is rolling out another free, all-day, all-ages music celebration today with the 8th Annual Make Music Festival, which brings about 60 performers of various genres to 10 stages. It starts at 2 p.m. and features Parlour Bells, the Rationales, Kate Diaz, Post Modern Authors, the Life Electric, OldJack, and dozens of others.

“Make Music Harvard Square is inspired by the ‘Fête de la Musique,’ a street-music festival which was started 34 years ago in Paris,” reads the promo on harvardsquare.com. “The ‘Fête de la Musique’ is now celebrated, under many names, in more than 700 cities in 120 countries, from London to Beijing to Buenos Aires. Harvard Square is proud to be a part of this worldwide celebration!”
