As summer draws closer, the 2015 Boston Fuzzstival comes into clearer view.
Earlier thuds month we revealed all 34 bands playing the three-day music festival, set for August 6, 7, and 8 at the Middle East in Cambridge, and today we know what band is playing on what day. There are eight bands playing each night on August 7 and 8, then an 18-band/artist mega-fest over two stages on Saturday, August 9.
Though Fuzzstival has a garage rock, psych, and noise-pop flavor in its lineup, curator Jason Trefts of the Middle East and Illegally Blind Presents says there are “no themes” when it comes to assembling each day’s lineup.
“Just trying to make each day diverse,” he tells Vanyaland. “Also trying to accommodate so many bands — some people could only do a certain day.”
Understandable with more than 30 bands on board. Three-day passes are on sale now for $30, and individual tickets are also on sale (August 6: $12; August 7: $12; August 8: $15). Here’s how the lineup shakes out:
