Several weeks after it was announced that Outside The Box would be returning to Boston after a year absence, the free, all-ages six-day celebration of arts and music has announced its full 2015 lineup.
Among the highlights of the July 14 to 19 fest on Boston Common: ’90s pop-rock band Gin Blossoms on Thursday night, and Radio 92.9 FM’s annual Earthfest on Saturday with Guster, New Politics, Atlas Genius, and American Idol’s Alex Preston. There are more than 70 performances total, including a Friday night showcase from Country 102.5; headliners are TBA as of press time.
“Outside the Box is designed to inspire by making the arts accessible to all,” says Boston-based philanthropist and arts enthusiast Ted Cutler in a presser. “For six days, we are going to celebrate the arts, showcasing an amazing group of performers and exposing attendees to an incredible array of cultures and genres. It is truly going to be an amazing event.”
