Zola Jesus‘ weird relationship with Boston continues. The electronic pop artist otherwise known as Nika Roza Danilova has announced another round of live shows, and once again, there’s no Massachusetts date.
Boston fans will either have to travel equal distances north or south to catch Zola Jesus on this leg, as she’s still supporting last year’s Taiga LP, with trips down to New York (June 14 in Brooklyn) or up to Vermont (June 15 in Burlington). Zola Jesus did perform at the Sinclair last December for a Converse Rubber Tracks Live series, and recently played the Institute of Contemporary Art in 2013, but it feels like a regularly ticketed club show has been lacking. Maybe we’re just imagining it.
