Marina & the Diamonds won’t be the only artist making her second appearance at this weekend’s Boston Calling Music Festival, as Brooklyn alt-pop group Lucius have been named as the replacement for an injured Chet Faker.
Here’s word from the fest:
Due to an injury, Chet Faker has cancelled his appearance at Boston Calling this Sunday. In his place, Boston Calling is thrilled to welcome back LUCIUS! They will be performing on the Red Stage on Sunday at 3:55pm.
The type of injury Chet Faker has sustained has not been reported, though he has been tweeting about being very sick in recent days. But Lucius, who have ties to Berklee College of Music, are a fitting last-minute add-on, having performed at Boston Calling in September 2013.
There have been more changes than usual to this weekend’s three-day festival since the lineup was first announced back in January. First, ilovemakonnen was called upon to replace Jungle, and then Halsey was added after Grizfolk had to cancel.
Here’s the rest of the lineup…
