Today is Star Wars Day, so naturally we have news that both droids and humans can salivate over: Kraftwerk are coming to town.
The pioneering German electronic music group has announced a 12-date North American tour that kicks off September 16 in Edmonton, Alberta, and concludes October 10 in Kansas City, Missouri. Included in that trek is an October 3 performance at the Wang Theatre in Boston.
According to Pitchfork, the tour will feature Kraftwerk’s “3-D concert spectacle,” a catalogue of their decades-long career. Here are the full run of dates, plus video from the group’s 2012 performance at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, City.
Tickets will go on sale Friday, May 8, at 10 a.m.
