The five-night Converse Rubber Tracks Live music series at the Sinclair was announced last week, and once everyone properly digested the incredible lineup (The Replacements! Passion Pit! Slayer! Chance The Rapper! Descendents! More!), some grim reality quickly set in: Not everyone will get into the 525-person capacity Harvard Square rock club on their preferred night of choice.
But, how exactly do you try to get on the list for these free, all-ages shows, which kick off Monday, April 27, with the Replacements, Dinosaur Jr., and the Young Leaves and conclude an exhausting workweek with Descendents, King Tuff, and the Bent Shapes on Friday, May 1?

Starting at noon today (Monday, April 20), people can register online at converse-music.com/boston and select two tickets to the show of their choice. This doesn’t seem like a first-come, first-serve situation, so no need to line up at your desks at 11:59 a.m. — registration will be open for 48 hours, until noon Wednesday, and Converse will randomly select winners and start notifying the lucky bastards via email later that night.
