One of baseball’s best and most efficient teams over the past several years, the Tampa Bay Rays are used to bringing an eclectic array of talent to Spring Training. Now that the 2015 Major League Baseball season has started, they are now bringing an eclectic lineup of music to Tropicana Field this summer.
The Rays announced their annual summer concert series last week, and the lineup is truly something for everyone, from cake-throwing EDM producer Steve Aoki to weed-lovin’ pop star Cody Simpson to the Kidz Bop crew (yes, the tweens who cover pop hits and make them family-friendly) to what’s left of the Jacksons.
Unlike this summer’s big-ticket concerts at Fenway Park (Foo Fighters, Billy Joel, Zak Brown Band), these shows are part of the Rays fan experience and are held after select games at Tropicana Field. The full schedule is below.
Someone get a Coachella-style poster made of this, just so we can see Aoki and Kidz Bop on the same lineup. Here’s the full lineup, from My Fox Tampa Bay:
The annual series features free concerts for fans after select games at Tropicana Field throughout the summer.
This year’s acts include a wide range of artists:
May 23 (after A’s game): The Jacksons
May 24 (after A’s game): Cody Simpson
June 13 (after White Sox game): Lee Brice
June 28 (after Red Sox game): Kidz Bop Kids
October 3 (after Blue Jays game): Steve Aoki
