By yesterday afternoon everyone already had their favorite moment from Coachella 2015’s Weekend 1. Maybe it was Ride blitzing through their classic shoegaze material, or Jack White’s commending Saturday night, performance, or maybe even Hozier and Este Haim teaming up for a rendition of the Time’s “Jungle Love.”
Whatever the preference, Madonna knew she had to do something to get headlines.
So she made out with Drake.
Bringing back flashes of her snogging Britney at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, Madonna and Drake for it on during the rapper’s headlining slot last night, and you can watch video of the tongue battle below.
As SPIN writes: “To those who’d been observing, you’d know that the Toronto rapper and the pop star — for whom Drizzy named a song after on his most recent release, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late — had already been trading ridiculously cheesy flirtatious mentions via Instagram and Twitter for the last few months.
Here’s how it went down: Drake played “Madonna,” then Madge did “Human Nature” and “Hung Up,” the two made out, and Ms. Rebel Heart walked off stage saying “I’m Madonna, bitch.”
