Miley Cyrus wants you to reach out and touch someone — and that someone just so happens to be Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton.
Not too long after taking to Instagram to declare Indiana Governor Mike Pence an “asshole” over Indiana’s controversial Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA), Cyrus has now set her Smilers out against Cotton.
The politician recently made news for inane comments about LGBT rights he made on CNN. Speaking to Wolf Blitzer, Cotton said, via Rolling Stone: “I think it’s important we have a sense of perspective about our priorities. In Iran, they hang you for the crime of being gay. They’re currently imprisoning an American preacher for spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ in Iran. We should focus on the most important priorities that our country faces right now.”
So Cyrus, who is a known and outspoken defender of gay rights, launched into action, sharing Cotton’s phone number with her 19.4 million followers.
Senator Cotton thinks gay community needs to get “perspective” cuz “In Iran they hang you for the crime of being gay.”

Apparently those who call now will reach a “full” voice mailbox.
