The Faith No More reunion party has extended into 2015, and now the influential Bay Area rock band is hitting the road for their first batch of stateside shows in five years.
Just before Faith No More’s as-yet-untitled new record hits digital and traditional shelves in May, the band will kick off a 15-date North American tour April 15 in Vancouver. The run comes to Boston’s Orpheum Theatre on May 11, and general on sale is Friday, January 30 at 10 a.m. EST.
“Here we go,” says FNM bassist Billy Gould, who is also producing the new record. “First North American tour dates, some in cities we haven’t played in over 17 years. We are armed with the new material and ready for whatever comes our way.”
The band also announced that “Superhero” would be the next single off the upcoming album, and you can hear a live version of that track after the tour dates. It will be available as a limited edition 7-inch single on March 17, followed by a digital release on March 31.
