Well, we know this much is true: Spandau Ballet have postponed 7 upcoming North American tour dates until the spring.
While that’s a bummer for those in Boston looking forward to the February 5 show at the House of Blues, there is good news — seven of those shows, including ours, have already been rescheduled.
Boston’s new date is April 30. Check the full list of rescheduled shows below.
Because of re-routing issue, shows in Denver (1/27) and Detroit (1/31) have been cancelled, and the band hopes to return to those cities later in 2015.
UPDATE: 4:43 a.m.: Spandau Ballet have clarified news on the West Coast dates, which will go on as planned.
“We would like to thank all our loyal fans in the US and Canada for their patience in waiting for these shows and would like to apologise for any inconvenience that this will cause. We hope to visit these cities later in 2015,” the band writes.
The reasoning for the delay is for the band’s Soul Boys of the Western World Tour to better coincide with the stateside release of their feature film of the same name. Watch the trailer for the documentary after the new dates.
