As we reported last week, today has been declared Guster Day in Boston by Mayor Martin J. Walsh.
In addition to helping launch Greenovate Boston’s 2014 Climate Action Plan with a performance at the Artists For Humanity’s EpiCenter, the Tufts University-born alt-rock band has been spending the day busking around the area — no small feat considering today’s frigid winter temperatures. Guster has already hit up Copley Square, South Station, and Cambridge’s Harvard Square, and they’ve been bringing a special guest along the way, jamming out those free pop-up shows with Keytar Bear.
Guster and the Bear rocked out on “Simple Machine,” a track that appears on the band’s new album Evermotion, which dropped on Tuesday.
Watch Harvard Square video of the collaboration below, as well as some other photos posted to social media.
It's not everyday that #Guster performs some sweet jams outside the office with Keytar Bear!
