It’s been a wild few months for fresh-faced porn star Mia Khalifa.
The Lebanese-born, American-raised, Miami-based adult film actress unexpectedly shot to the top of PornHub’s rankings recently, dethroning skin show veteran Lisa Ann. The publicity, paired with a very active and fiesty Twitter profile and a handful of scene for BangBros, has brought on the death threats from people in Khalifa’s home region, who take offense to not only her line of work, but also her wearing a hijab in one of her first scenes.
She’s turned the world of online porn on its head. And she’s a huge Florida State fan.
Throw all that together and you have the perfect opportunity for a hit song, which is what Boston-born pop duo Timeflies hope to achieve with their new track “Mia Khalifa.” Now based in the New York area, where producer Rob Resnick and vocalist Cal Shapiro are originally from, the pair met at Tufts University around 2007 and played in funk group the Ride.
“Mia Khalifa” is lyrically about how the actress confronts her haters online and “balls like LeBron.” Listen to it below…
