Video Scar: Did someone really steal Hallelujah The Hills’ Boston Music Award?

Just when the controversy surrounding the 2014 Boston Music Awards has died down to an annoying whisper, a new one has sprouted up: it looks like someone straight-up jacked Hallelujah the Hills‘ BMA for Music Video of the Year.

The indie rock band’s other BMA, for Rock Artist of the Year, remains safe and accounted for.

“Well, it’s official, someone else took home our “Best Video” award statue the other night,” Jah Hills write on their Facebook page. “Who do I think did it? Maybe it’s that asshole in The Bee Wolfs? The dickhead who used to book Super Vertigo? Maybe it was someone infatuated with Emmy Loud Harris?”

They add: “I don’t know, and neither does Boston Music Awards staff. If you have it, turn it over. You probably have never even heard The Multiverses, you poser.”

Sadness. Talk about asking Have You Ever Done Something Evil?

Hopefully, it will turn up, either at Camp Hills, inside the halls of the Revere Hotel, or maybe under the comfy couch cushions that were thrown around during Tigerman WOAH’s closing set. We were all pretty shitcanned by then, so who knows where the little guy is hiding out.

A donation plate (or something) will be passed around when Hallelujah the Hills play the Sinclair in Cambridge on January 10 with Tallahassee, Parks, and Cask Mouse. Flyer down below after the social media embed jump.
