That’s right, Robyn is getting her own postage stamp, so finally licking the back of images featuring her face is no longer creepy. It’s essential. Konichiwa, lickers.
Jezebel relays the news that Robyn is part of a new series celebrating Swedish musicians that have created important pop music. Also featured starting January 15 will be producer Max Martin, folk duo First Aid Kit, EDM producer Avicii and soul singer Seinabo Sey.
This is definitely the coolest thing to happen to Swedish postage since Peter Forsberg was honored several years ago.
Says PostNord, the mail company that runs shit in Sweden and Denmark: “Sweden, with a population of only 9 million, is third in world in pop music exports.”
