In October of last year, British alt-rock survivalists Placebo played a pair of lonely stateside shows, one in New York City and the other in Los Angeles, with a promise of a full North American tour “sometime in 2014.”
Almost exactly a year later, and a year after the release of the band’s latest record Loud Like Love, that promise is fulfilled. Placebo earlier today announced their first full-on North American tour since 2007, and will play the Paradise Rock Club in Boston on October 12.
