Nearly a month after he joined Willie Nelson on stage at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion in Boston, actor Johnny Depp was back on stage last night — this time with Aerosmith at the XFinity Center in Mansfield.
One more live appearance — maybe with Blackbutton or the Devil’s Twins Saturday night at Brighton Music Hall? — and we can probably consider Depp a member of the Boston rock scene.
Last night south of Boston, Depp jumped on stage during an encore, and played guitar on “Train Kept A Rollin’,” a track he’s played a few times before with Steven Tyler and Company.
Depp, of course, is in town filming the new Whitey Bulger bio-pic, Black Mass.
