The most fascinating twitter conversation of the past week continued last night — and most likely concluded — when Lana Del Rey responded to Frances Bean Cobain’s tweets about how dying young isn’t “cool.”
In case you were busy yesterday, Cobain calmly and reasonably responded to Del Rey’s comments in a Guardian interview where the Ultraviolence singer said “I wish I was dead already.” So Cobain told her to not waste her talent, and wrote, in part: “Embrace life, because u only get one life. The ppl u mentioned wasted that life. Don’t be 1 of those ppl ur too talented to waste it away.”
Well now Del Rey offered up a “we cool” and we can all get back to T.I. vs. Azealia Banks or whatever other beef we were hung up on before this alleged one.
@alka_seltzer666 it's all good. He was asking me a lot a out your dad I said I liked him because he was talented not because he died young-

@alka_seltzer666 the other half of what I said wasn't really related to the people he mentioned/ I don't find that part of music glam either

We hope this is the start of a beautiful friendship. Meanwhile, Ultraviolence sits atop the UK charts.
